Lynn Porter Swindell

Funeral services for Lynn Porter Swindell, age 80, will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 12 p.m. at Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Gene Rollins, and Brother Bob Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Bradford Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Swindell a retired truck driver for McLean Trucking was born in Milan, Tennessee on October 14, 1937 to the late Claude and Lula Porter Swindell, and passed away Monday December 18, 2017 at NHC Healthcare in Milan, Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Peggy Swindell of Milan, Tennessee, one son Terry (Betsy) Swindell of Jackson, Tennessee, one daughter Vicky (Randy) Harper of Bradford, Tennessee, two sister Jessie McDade of McKenzie, Tennessee, and Betty Porter of Greenfield, Tennessee, one brother Billie Wade (Shirley) Swindell of Greenfield, Tennessee, three grandchildren Joe (Johnna) Alexander, Dillion Alexander, Claire Swindell, two great grandchildren Channing Alexander, and Harper Alexander.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church Bradford, Tennessee.

Was a member of the Bradford Volunteer Fire Department for fifty years.
