Joan Clarice Smith

Funeral services for Joan Clarice Blaylock Smith, age 74, will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Bradford Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Clarice, a retired Director for Gibson County office on aging, was born in Bradford, Tennessee on September 3, 1941 and passed away Wednesday July 13, 2016 at her residence.

She is survived by her husband Larry Joe Smith of Bradford, Tennessee, two daughters, Gina Blaylock (Mike) Thetford of Bradford, Tennessee, Amanda Blaylock (Mike) Lifsey of McKenize, Tennessee, one son Mike Smith of Pegram, Tennessee, two sisters Jane Waldeen (Dickey) Hinson of Bradford, Tennessee, Donna Sue (Mike) Gibson. nine grandchildren, Zach (Meagon) Thetford, Matthew (Deidre) Thetford, Brittney Thetford (Garrett) Mann, Brookelyn, Thetford, Bailey Lifsey, Emma Lifsey, Maciel Smith, Leah Smith. four great grandchildren Hallee Mann, London Katie Thetford, Owen Thomas Thetford, Houston,Thomas Thetford.
