Funeral services for Jerry Wilkins Thetford, age 78 will be held on Saturday January 30, 2016 at 11 a.m in the chapel of Hunt Funeral Home with Rev. J.B. Burns, Rev Don Dyer, and Rev. Dale Denning officiating. Burial will follow in the Pounds-Idlewild Cemetery.near Bradford, Tennessee.
Mr. Thetford , a retired factory employee of Brown Shoe Company was born in Gibson Co. Tennessee on May 9, 1937 and passed away Thursday January 28, 2016 and NHC Healthcare in Milan, Tennessee.

 Mr.Thetford is preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Avery Thetford, an infant brother Rex Dewayne Thetford, his grand parents Albert and Etlar Thetford and Walter and Lillie Knott.

He is survived by his wife Willine Joyce Riley Thetford of Bradford, Tennessee, one son Daryl (Dana) Thetford of Chattannoga, Tennessee, one sister Kenelia (J.B.) Burns of Maul, Alabama, two nephews Kevin (Regina) Burns and Kendrick (Kristen) Burns, two grand nieces and 2 grand nephews.
