James Kizer

Funeral services for James Kizer, age 70, will be held on Monday September 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Brother Josh Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral. On Monday visitation with the family will be held at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church at 9 a.m. until funeral time.

Mr. Kizer a retired well driller was born in Kenton, Tennessee on December 18, 1947 to the late James Hugh  and Laura Ann Barton Kizer, and passed away Friday September 7, 2018 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife Linda Kizer of Bradford, Tennessee, three daughters Cathy Cantrell of Bradford, Tennessee, Vera Kizer, of Chesnee South Carolina, Ivory (Matthew) Hensley of Milan, Tennessee, two sisters Maggie Skulimowski of South Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Rosemary Hill, of McKenzie, Tennessee, two brothers Frankie Kizer, of Bradford, Tennessee, Doug Kizer of Bradford, Tennessee, four grandchildren Sidney Cantrell, Aldon Cantrell, Rylee Hensley, Levi Hensley.

Mr. Kizer is preceded in death by two sisters JoAnn McCaig, Irene Wallace, and onr Brother Ernest Kizer.
