Ida Virginia McConnell

Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Virginia McConnell, age 89, will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Davidson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time.

Mrs. McConnell, a homemaker, was born in Carroll County, TN, on March 19, 1935, and passed away on December 1, 2024, at Dyer Nursing Home in Dyer, TN.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tyre McConnell; her two children, Steven, and Cindy McConnell; and her parents.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ruby Hampton and one grandchild, Amber McConnell Beckett.
