Herman Armstrong Oliver

Funeral services for Herman Armstrong Oliver, age 97, will be held on Wednesday February 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Hunt Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Gene Rollins officiating. Entombment will follow in Gibson Co. Memory Gardens.

Mr. Oliver, construction worker, was born in Somerville, Tennessee on May 15, 1919 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Edward Oliver, and passed away on February 14, 2017 at his residence.

He is survived by two daughters Dale (Herbert) Richardson of Ripley Mississippi, Teresa (Don) Bishop of Paris Tennessee, three sons Mickey Oliver of Memphis, Tennessee, Mike (Brenda) Oliver of Nashville, Tennessee and Kelly Oliver of Bradford, Tennessee, five grandchildren MIa Oliver, Charles Richardson, Becky Moffit, Jessica Yerby, Michelle Oliver, six great grandchildren, Erika Ryan, Ronnie Rowland, Chelsey Moffit, Amber Moffit, Ian Pierce, Gabriel Pierce, and two great great grandchildren Carson Rowland, Lana Rowland.

Mr. Oliver is preceded in death by his wife Norma Jean Oliver.
