Herchel Baker

Funeral services for Herchel (Son) Baker, age 95 will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Hunt Funeral Home LLC with Brother Phillip Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday from 10:30 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Baker a carpenter was born in Bradford, Tennessee on August 08, 1922 to the late Jake and Minie Rutledge Baker, and passed away Sunday October 29, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He survived by his wife of forty five years Leverne Baker of Bradford, Tennessee, daughter Glynda H. Hensley of Bradford, Tennessee three grandchildren Geoffrey W. Hensley, Felicia McNabb Bell, Amanda McNabb Crum, four great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Baker is preceded in death by a daughter Judy Smith, and son in law Bill Hensley.
