Funeral services for Mr. Harlon Carroll Cantrell, age 83, will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022,at 10 a.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Walker and Tom Witherspoon officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 5 until 8 p.m.

Mr. Cantrell, a retired farmer, was born in Gibson County to the late Tilman and Catherine Carroll Cantrell. He passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, at Jackson-Madison County North Hospital in Jackson, TN.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Cantrell of Bradford, TN; a daughter, Velvet (Brian) Garner of Greenfield, TN; a son, Shon (Angie) Cantrell of Bradford, TN; eight grandchildren, Brandon Cantrell, Alex Cantrell, Macy Garner, Sydney Cantrell, Garrett Garner, Shelby Cantrell, Aldon Cantrell, and Kensie Garner; one great-grandchild, Haley Cantrell; and a beloved dog, Sadie.

He is preceded in death by his son, Troy Cantrell.
