Gregory Wayne James

Funeral services for Mr. Gregory Wayne James, age 53, will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Stephen Matheson officiating. Burial will follow at Double Springs Cemetery in Humboldt, TN. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Mr. James was born on August 29, 1969, in Milan, TN, to the late Gaylon and Rita Anglin James. He passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

He is survived by a special friend, Billie Morris of Trezevant, TN; one uncle, Johnny (Paulette) Anglin of Bradford, TN; seven aunts, Sue Matheson of Bradford, TN, Julia (David) O’Brien of Atwood, TN, Jennifer (Richard) Hughes of Bradenton, FL, Melissa (Joe) McMinn of Milan, TN, Miriam (Charlie) Sannes of South Range, MI, Veronica (Duke) Young of Milan, TN, and Valerie (Dwayne) McMinn of Dyer, TN;  and one grandchild, Ellie Leatherwood of Milan, TN.
