George Thomas Dawson

Graveside services for Mr. George Thomas Dawson, age 76, will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. at Locust Grove Cemetery in Bradford, TN. His celebration of life will be officiated by Bro. Brad Brewer, Rev. Jack McLaughlin, and Bro. Joel Pigg. 

Mr. Dawson, a retired factory worker, was born on May 11, 1948, to the late Richard and Magadlene Dawson and passed away on August 26, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Pat Rimmer. 

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Dawson; one sister, Joanne (Stanley) Childress; one son, John (Michelle) Dawson; one daughter, Melissa (Adam) Williams; five grandchildren, Zachary (Haley) Williams, Zoe Williams, Aaron (Mackenzie) Ekback, Ashley Dawson, and Rachel Collins; and many nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers: Adam Williams, John Dawson, Zachary Willams, David Whitney, Aaron Ekback, and Cason Sharp.

~Following the graveside service, a meal will be provided for friends and family at the Pleasant View Church of Christ fellowship hall. The family requests you join them for the meal should you not be able to attend the graveside service. 

~Any food you wish to provide or gifts you wish to send to the family should be taken to the church fellowship hall as requested by the family.
