Evie Mae Harris

Funeral services for Evie Mae Harris, age 98 will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Edward Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Pounds-Idlewild Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 12 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Harris, a homemaker was born in Idlewild, Tennessee on March 6, 1918 and passed away Thursday September 29, 2016 at Douglas Nursing Home.

She is survived by her daughter Omega McCartney of Bradford, Tennessee and son Edward (June) Harris of Milan, Tennessee, four grandchildren, Philip Jewell, John Harris, Penny Hubble, and Kristi Sandy, five great grandchildren, Lauren Lewis, Mary Beth Pate, Lucas Hubble, Kelly Shea Harris, Kylie Harris.
