Douglas McArther Kizer

Funeral for Mr. Douglas McArther Kizer, age 82, will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. His celebration of life will be officiated by Bro. Johnny McCartney and Andy Rutherford.

Mr. Doug was born on February 28, 1942, to the late James Hugh and Laura Ann Barton Kizer. He passed away peacefully on April 18, 2024, at NHC Healthcare in Milan, TN. 

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Ernest Kizer, James Kizer, Maggie Skulimowski, JoAnn McCaig, and Irene Wallace. 

He is survived by his brother, Frankie Wade Kizer; his sister, Rosemary Hill; twenty-one nieces and nephews; and thirty-six great-nieces and nephews.
