David Leigh Wheeler

Funeral services for David Leigh Wheeler, age 77, will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Melvin Allen officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Wheeler, a retired factory employee, was born in Gibson County on May 3, 1945, to the late Doyle and Bernadine Throgmorton Wheeler. He passed away at his residence in Milan, TN, on November 24, 2022.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Wheeler of Milan, TN; two daughters, Michelle (Billy) Kirk and Christy Cates of Bradford, TN; two brothers, Tim (Cathy) Wheeler of Sedalia, MO, and Brian Wheeler of Texas; two sisters, Jeanie McBride of Dresden, TN and Elizabeth King of Memphis, TN; five grandchildren, Brianna (Derek) Miller, Jada (Austin) Mason, Ashton Wheeler, Chloe Kirk, and Kaley Wheeler; and 5 great-grandchildren, Briar Miller, Banks Miller, Lyam Mason, Sylas Mason, and Ryker Mason.

He is preceded in death by four brothers, Fred Wheeler, Philip Wheeler, Mike Wheeler, and Danny Wheeler: and one sister, Judy Smith.
