Carolyn Crews Porter

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Crews Porter, age 80, will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kelvin Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Bradford Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time. 

Mrs. Porter, a retired teacher for the Bradford Special School District, was born in Gibson County on January 27, 1944, and passed away at NHC Healthcare in Milan, TN, on January 6, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gail and Virginia Lowery Crews, and her daughter, Tracy Sudzum.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Porter of Bradford; along with many other relatives, friends, and those she called family, who loved her dearly. 

 Pallbearers include Jimmy Porter, Billy Porter, David Bryant, Cason Sharp, Jason Harwood, Josh Gibson, Joel Branson, and Curtis Porter (Honorary).
