Billy Terrell Cash

Funeral services for Mr. Billy T. Cash, age 90, will be held on Wednesday, January 22, at 1 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Bradford Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time.

Billy T. Cash was born on May 30, 1934, in Bradford, TN and was the only child of Horace and Ruby Cash. He attended Lambuth College and Memphis State before marrying his longtime girlfriend, Nina McDuffie of Greenfield. After they were married, he left for Fort Chaffee, Arkansas where he served in the United States Army. They later moved to Silver Springs, MD, where he began working at the Pentagon. Pam was born during their 6 years in Maryland and Julie followed after returning to their home in Tennessee. Billy began working with his dad at Westside garage until he became the postmaster in Bradford where he worked for 30 years.

Billy was a great dad, grandad, and great grandad. He was very generous, highly organized. He loved a nice yard, clean house, golf, a good steak, Nina’s cooking, but most of all, his friends and family. 

He will be missed by his wife, Nina; his children, Pam and Julie; his grandchildren, Leah (Willie), Anna (Jesse), Katie, Emily (Kody), and Austin. He has 13 great-grandchildren that loved him dearly. The family has been blessed to have him for all these years and will miss him so much.
