Betty Jo Knott

Funeral services for Betty Jo Knott, age 85 will be held on Tuesday October 6, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Johnny Witherspoon, and Brian Beasley officiating. Burial will follow at Oliver’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Ms. Knott was born in Milan, Tennessee on September 29, 1935 to the late Jamie and Maurine Reed Caraway, and passed away on Sunday October 4, 2020 at Milan General Hospital.

Ms. Knott farmed and retired from the Milan Ammunition Plant where she worked for 39 yrs.

She is survived by two daughters Kay (Wayman) Cates of Bradford, Tennessee, Susan (Johnny) Witherspoon of Rutherford, Tennessee, four sons Johnny (Doris) Knott of Milan, Tennessee, Charles Wayne Knott of Bradford, Tennessee, Phillip Dale (Connie) Knott of Bradford, Tennessee, Erby Knott of Bradford.

Ms. Knott has nine grandchildren Jennifer Worthing, Felicia Knott, Jerry S. Beasley, Brian Beasley, Daniel Beasley, Mandy Page, Juli Anne Sullivan, Lexie Knott, Koen Knott, and eleven great grandchildren.

Ms. Knott is preceded in death by her husband Bill O. Knott, daughter Martha Jo Knott, and son Billy Robert Knott.
