Alden Dale Crockett

Funeral services for Alden Dale Crockett, age 88, will be held on Saturday August 1, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Griffin Chapel United Methodist Church with Brother Stephen Fonville, and Brother Mark Earhardt officiating. Burial will follow at Griffin Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 12 p.m. until 2p.m. at the church.

Mr. Crockett a retired factory employee of the Brown Shoe Corporation, was born in Gibson County on October 21, 1931 to the late Raleigh Phillip and Zula LaMode Davis Crockett, and passed away Thursday July 31, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He is survived by two daughter, Charlotte (Donnie) Massey Meridian, Mississippi, Cathy (Michael) Walter of Bradford, Tennessee, one son Charles (Jan) Crockett of Trenton, Tennessee, one step son Charles (Sherry) Scruggs of Trenton, Tennessee, seven grandchildren Claire Massey, Ashley Sims, Bethany Donaldson, Crockett Walter, Hunter Crockett, Cate Michael Walter, Rebecca Walter, one great grandchild Sawyer Donaldson, two step grandchildren Heather Jones, Will Scruggs, and two steps great grandchildren Parker Jones, and Drake Scruggs.

Mr. Crockett is preceded in death by his wife Judith Scruggs Crockett, and his brother Gale Crockett.
