Albert Harvey Holmes

Funeral services for Albert Harvey Holmes, age 86 will be held on Tuesday October 31, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Josh Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Holmes a retired carpenter was born in Gibson County Tennessee on September 5, 1931 to the late Roy and Kate Pounds Holmes, and passed away Saturday October 28, 2017 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years Sue Holmes of Bradford, Tennessee, three daughters Susan (Dean) Mitchell of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Kathy Cox of Warrior, Alabama, and Rita Moore, of Newbern, Tennessee, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

Mr. Holmes was a member and deacon of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church.
